Why This Book Matters
L’intimité avec le Seigneur is not just a book — it’s the fruit of decades of walking with God. Pastor Jeanne shares how true worship begins with knowing the One we worship. Drawing from personal experience and biblical revelation, she teaches that praise and adoration are not merely about music or performance but about a lifestyle of connection with God.
Her book takes readers on a journey through the different levels of intimacy, helping them grow in personal relationship with the Lord and understand that adoration is not what we sing — it's who we are. Through this lens, she invites readers to a deeper, healed, and Spirit-led life of worship.
A Voice Rooted in Faith and Culture
Although she now lives in the U.S., Pastor Jeanne stays deeply connected to the DRC, where she travels regularly to teach and minister. Her Congolese background brings a unique depth to her reflections on worship. She notes that many Congolese songs are born out of unhealed emotional pain and have become expressions of lament rather than praise.
Through her teaching, she emphasizes that true worship requires healing first. Drawing from stories like that of the Samaritan woman in John 4, she encourages believers to go beyond emotional expression and step into Spirit-led, truth-filled adoration. Her message is clear: bring back the name of Jesus into our worship — because “what makes worship powerful is not just the music, but the presence of Jesus.”

A Message to Aspiring Authors
Pastor Jeanne encourages others, especially those in the Francophone community, to write without fear or hesitation. “People say Africans don’t read — that’s not true,” she says. “Since publishing this book, I’ve sold over 500 copies. I’ve seen people teach from it, grow from it.” Her conviction is strong: if the Holy Spirit calls you to write, obey. Your words may reach places your feet never will.
